DESCRIPTION
It generally accepted that transportation of goods is essential for the commercial exchanges between countries. To render freight transport smart and sustainable not only a modern forwarding system but a good cooperation between countries has to be established. Therefore a conference for promotion of friendly business among Finnish and Lithuanian freight carriers, freight forwarders, logistics, trade and other business organizations, associations was organized.
Conference will focus on following questions:
- Opportunities for cooperation between Finnish and Lithuanian business companies – public and private regulation and promotion.
- Experience in establishing freight villages.
- Logistics solutions in freight transportation sector.
- Benefits of transportation freights by most reliable, economical, safe and environmentally friendly transport modes.

Lecturer
The conference will be chaired by Edmundas Daukantas, Managing Director of DB Schenker Lithuania. Mr. Daukantas is an experienced conference presenter, negotiator and excellent speaker.

The conference will be conducted in English.

This conference should be of particular interest for representatives of Finnish and Lithuanian state institutions, as well as delegates of transport, logistics, freight forwarders companies, associations and other business organizations.
