Container train "Mercury" (Merkurijus)
Mercury train is designed for 20', 40', 45' feet universal and specialized containers to deliver on route Klaipeda/Kaliningrad - Minsk - Moscow and return. According to 2014-2015 years wagon and container formation plan, trains leave from Draugystes (Lithuania) and Kaliningrad (Russia) railway stations to Vaidotai (Lithuania) railway station, where wagons and containers are formed to one block train and are sent to Moscow region station: Kuncevo 2, Moscow - Tovarnaja - Smolenskaja, Kresty, Silikatnaja. Returning train is coming back from mentioned above railway stations to Vaidotai station, where wagons and containers are delivered to Klaipeda and Kaliningrad ports.
Train from Kaliningrad and Klaipeda to Moscow departs once a week, it takes two days to reach the distance between two cities.
